Independent Restaurant Group

While we’re all competitive, we also know that banding together ultimately serves our businesses and our customers very well.  Restaurant owners involved in the IRG have the benefit of sharing best business practices and strategies that will make them even stronger and more enjoyed by customers.  Composed of a dozen restaurants in the region, the IRG seeks in part to take advantage of key cooperative sales, advertising and marketing efforts that it would largely be unable to do on an individual basis.

The importance of the impact of independent restaurants on the local economy cannot be understated, the money that is spent at these restaurants stays in the communities. We are very proud of our role in the community, and this partnership will allow us to play an even bigger role now.  The restaurant group employs about 400 workers and donates an estimated $250,000 annually to North Central Massachusetts schools, nonprofit groups and other charities.
